The Mural of Hope

Sunday at The Art Room was A M A Z I N G.

This Sunday, we welcomed children from the community to experience art, while creating a "Mural of Hope" to be displayed at Hemby's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

The Art Room welcomes all kids in the community to benefit Bee Mighty!

Paint, markers, spray guns and chalk brought smiles to faces and covered the tables.
Bee tees were sold, hand-made crowns were available and the Art Room graciously donated $100 in free art classes!

"Hope is the thing with feathers, That perches in the soul. And sings the tune without the words. And never stops at all.”
― Emily Dickinson.

This is the inspiration (and small glimpse) at The Mural of Hope. Each leaf has been hand-made with vitality by the children in the community, while the tree branches weave through the neighborhoods. The grass is the foundation, built of fortuitous words by other preemie mothers. This is a snapshot of what will span 6 feet in width and welcome all families that enter the NICU.

What a blessing. My tank is full. Thank you, Art Room & Liz!
